The March and Rally

[Event poster. On top in shades of red, turquoise, and green over a background of light green sunbeams reads "Pittsburgh Disability March & Rally to Celebrate the ADA Anniversary.” On bottom in shades of red, grey, and turquoise reads “Wed. July 26th - Noon to 3 PM Downtown - Liberty Avenue between Commonwealth Place and Stanwix St - Festivities will kick off the night before with a Disability Network Night - For more info: pghADArally.com.” To the left of the bottom text are the symbols for mobility impairments, neurological disabilities, sign language, and a blind person using a white cane, and a photograph of a white person person holding a colorful poster that reads “You are perfect the way you are!” Above this poster is a logo in blue that consists of the tracery of Pittsburgh’s three rivers and a wheelchair symbol in between, underneath which reads “Access Mob Pittsburgh.” The rest of the poster consists of photographs of people with different types of disabilities. From left to right are: A young white boy using a motorized wheelchair, with a giant flag that looks like the American flag but the stars form the wheelchair symbol flowing from the back of his chair. - A young black girl with a huge smile holding up a yellow sign that reads “Noting about us without us.” - A black-and-white 70’s-era white woman in a motorized wheelchair, holding a sign that reads “Build access for all!” - A young white girl wearing a purple “Deaf Pride” t-shirt holding her hand up in the “I love you” sign. - Two Muslim women in colorful hijabs sitting in wheelchairs with their clasped hands held up above their heads. - A white boy wearing a black t-shirt with an infinity sign colored in as a rainbow, under which reads “Neurodiversity is a biological fact.” - A white woman in a blue shirt walking with a with a guide dog. - A black man in a brightly colored shirt using a pair of closed-cuff crutches. - A black-and-white 70’s-era man in a plaid shirt holding a sign that says “Disabled and proud.”]
